I failed UPSC — twice.

Not the “failed but learned a lot” kind. The kind where your family has spent lakhs on your coaching, your relatives keep asking “kya hua result ka?”, and you genuinely don't know what to do with your life anymore. That was me in 2019.

I spent the next year trying everything — freelancing on Fiverr, making random YouTube videos, selling things on Instagram. Nothing worked because I had no clarity. I was throwing energy in every direction and getting nothing back.

Then I made one decision that changed everything. I stopped chasing 10 things and focused on one skill I was actually good at— understanding how to research, break down complex topics, and communicate them clearly. Skills I'd built during UPSC prep without even realising it.

I learned affiliate marketing. Applied it to ClickBank. Used AI to build systems instead of doing everything manually. And then kept at it — day after day, refining one system.

Looking back, I wasn't stuck because I lacked talent. I was stuck because nobody helped me see what I was already good at. That's the problem I kept seeing everywhere — smart, capable people with no clue what to do next.
